Ode to Summer

Ode to summer
The summer breeze
Makes me sneeze
I lie on my back and watch the bees
Oh what couldn’t be better?

The flowers sway in the breeze as if there dancing to the samba
The brilliant grass twists and turns as if it was a green mamba
My flip flops make a sound that you might hear at the Bomba
Oh what couldn’t be better?

The birds’ chirps sing a beautiful song
And the toad plays a gong
This symphony goes all day long
Oh what couldn’t be better?

Before long the leaves start to fall
I know that it is going to become autumn
And the days will become rotten
But summer was a ball
And I cannot wait to see it again next year!

Nora and the cheat sheet

Nora Robin was in her history class room, taking the end of the term test. Underneath her test was an answer key. She knew this was wrong, but her mother was already upset about something Nora never knew about.
“How did I get myself into this?” She whispered to herself.
She remembered the exact night when she thought of the idea. She was in her messy room, trying to study. Nora could never get anything memorized, so every test she took, she always failed. This time she was determined to get higher than a 90%! No matter how hard she tried, she would get everything mixed up.  Leo and Clarke went across Europe in 1984.
“NO NO NO!” her head screamed.
The only other way was to cheat. How could she? She wasn’t a straight A student in work, but she was very helpful around the classroom. But that still, there was never peace to the Robin house when they read the report cards. Her teacher told her if she does well on this test, she might get a better grade! Nora had to do it, she knew she did.
Nora was on her last question, who discover America? Of course it was Christopher Columbus, and the answer key said it too. As she was writing Christopher in her neatest hand writing, her pencil tip broke! Luckily she had many spares.
As she was opening her pencil box, to her dismay the answer key swiftly dropped to the floor in near someone’s foot.
“Creeeeek” went the paper as it fell.
And to add on to the horrible event, her teacher came rushing over and picked up the paper!
“Hmmm… and who does this belong to? Nora? Grace? Anyone?
Nora was panicking inside! She had to act normal. Calm down she told herself.
“It wasn’t me!!!!” screamed Grace. Grace is one of those goody- goody girls. So she gets everything her way, and at the same time is the teacher’s pet! Nora’s teacher didn’t buy Ms.goody-goody’s pleads.
“GRACE GO TO THE OFFICE NOW”
“Oh no” thought Nora, what she had gotten herself into. And poor Grace, what has she done. Nora needs to fix this situation before it becomes even worse, and that means FAST!

Chapter 2

Nora was sitting on a picnic table. She was thinking of a plan to end this terrible situation. What if I say that it was to help me study, and when I was getting my pencil it slipped out? But, she wouldn’t buy it.
“Thanks for giving me a two week detention!” screamed Grace.
“Dude, I’m sorry I don’t know whose it is. “
“Sorry is not acceptable; I think you better turn yourself in!”
Grace stormed off. When did she get all mean to Nora? Usually, in the hallways, she would smile at Nora, or even talk to her. And two week detention isn't as bad as summer school.
As Nora walked home she thought of a plan. It was called “top mission: cheat sheet.” She had to do many things do to this, and she may even get expelled. But all she wanted to do is get a higher grade. Nora had to go and figure out who sat in her desk the period before. Then she would see if this student was a slacker or a goody good student. With that information she could say that as she was getting her pencil case from her desk, the other student’s cheat sheet fell out and Nora was scared to admit it that she didn’t plan it there.
That evening Nora’s mother bombarded her with questions. All she wanted to do was go inside her room put on her speakers and play music on her iPod. Alas, this couldn't happen because her mother didn’t allow iPods being used after dark.
“So, how was the test?”Her mother asked.
“It was fine, someone was cheating so we had to stop taking the test. I was almost done.” Replied Nora as she was placing her plate in the dishwasher.
“It wasn’t you right? You can tell me now, I won’t be disappointed. But if you lie then I will be very mad!”
“I need to go to the bathroom sorry” she hastily replied.
As soon as she left, she went to straight to bed.

CHAPTER 3:
The next morning Nora went to school early. She snuck into her history classroom and opened her teacher’s files. She saw her name and a red circle. Curious, she opened it and saw her report card.

She sighed and put it back, then she opened the class before Nora’s class files opened. She took out the seating arraignment.
“Hmmm… Hannah B.” she muttered. Hannah Beather was the victim. Nora fingered through the files and came upon Hannah B.

Hannah was also like Nora, expect worse. Nora felt as if she was the top student and Hannah was the worst. Nora sighed, and something caught her attention. Grace’s ungraded test was sitting on her teacher’s desk. Another plan came into her mind. She would make it look like Grace committed the crime. She carefully put Hannah’s file back. She grabbed Grace’s test and the cheat sheet on her desk too. She ran outside and into the hallway. Down the hall, she ran into the girls’ locker room, where she hid in a stall. She looked at Grace’s test:

Who were Lewis and Clark?
Lewis and Clark were explores sent by the king of England to sail across America. They were looking for the Pacific Ocean. They started in Pennsylvania and ended in Oregon. When they were in the middle of the country, they thought that they were very close because they heard some water, but to their surprise it was a vast Mountain Range, called the Rocky Mountains. They had to climb over the mountains, and then they finally reached the Pacific Ocean.
What year did the sail?
They gathered crew in 1803, set sail from St. Louis in 1804 and ended at the mouth of the Columbia River in 1806.
How did they record their trip?
They recorded their trip with a journal, that is missing pages, but still available to read!
What was the boat called that the pilgrims came to America called?
That boat was called the Mayflower. It

Who discovered America?
Nora realized that if she rewrote all the answers word by word from the study guide then her teacher will believed that it was Grace. She grabbed the test and put it in her backpack.

CHAPTER 4

When Nora ran inside her house, her mother was sitting at their dinning room table looking stern.
" Oh no, what did I do wrong." Nora thought to herself, did she forget to turn off a light, do a chore?
" Nora, come sit here." she said as her mother patted the seat next to her. Nora sat down.
" I got a call from the school principal, someones test was missing today and the school believes it was a student who committed the crime. I got an email too saying you were spotted around school before school started. Is this true Nora?"
 " Yes mom." Nora said.
" Nora why were you there?"
" I lost my glue stick there, and I needed to grab it before school." Nora lied.
" Okay Nora, I believe you." Her mother smiled and dismissed her. That was close. This was getting out of hand, Nora needed this to be over soon. She ran to her room and shut the door. Nora pulled out the test from her bag and placed it on her desk. She pulled out the answer key and started the process of filling it out word by word. It wasn't hard at all, her hand-writing was like Grace's and nobody memorizes exactly what they wrote, so Grace wouldn't figure it out. When she finished she placed the test and the key back in her bag, opened her door and started doing homework. The next morning, Nora woke up early and left for school early. Her mother leaves the house at 6 on the dot and Nora left at 7:30, giving her a whole hour before school. She entered the building and headed for her classroom. She walked in and noticed her teacher there.
" Hello Nora, how can I help you?" She smiled at her.
Nora manged to say " Oh, I just left my coat here yesterday and I wanted to get it." She walked to the coat room and hit herself. She needed to plant the test in Grace's desk, but how could she do it if her teacher was right there. She looked up at the ceiling and noticed she was under Grace's cubby. She stashed the test underneath Grace's math notebook and smiled. When her teacher comes in here today to collect notebooks before class, she will notice the test. She hung up her coat and her backpack and back to the classroom.
" Any luck Nora?" Her teacher questioned.
" Nope, but I think I know where it is." Nora responded.
" Well I'm going to pick up the math notebooks, did you do your homework, it could help your grade."
" Yes I did" Nora said smiling, she did do the homework and she knows her teacher thought she wouldn't.
" You can go now Nora, go play in the playground" Her teacher said as she headed for the coat room.
CHAPTER 5
Nora sat in her seat watching all the other kids talk to their friends. Nora really never had friends, but she didn't care.
" Students, calm down now. I have graded all your tests, and figured out who committed the crime. They will have a green circle around there grade. They must go to detention for a month because they stole the test too."  Nora sat in her seat, scared. Did her teacher find out? Did she get Grace? What was going on!

My shape poem that you have been waiting for!

Here is my shape poem
The car says: My color is avocado green. On earth I travel with someone, but tonight I travel alone. I go to see my friends, the moon and the sun.
The moon says:  Hello! Hello! I am the moon, I see a car which is travling alone. I give it some moon cakes as I watch it leave.
The sun says: Hello Hello! I shout as a car appears. I give it a polish with my sun rays. I sigh as it goes away.

Paintbrush!

Paintbrush
I travel across an easel
Like a bird flying in the air
My path leaves a lovely color
The color of love and betrayal

I have no arms no legs
But I still show my feelings
Through ways that happiness cannot create
But I can

I created the most beautiful place
And a mysterious lady
I’ve created places like Eden
But I am not a creator
I have been to heaven
Been to the deepest part of the sea
But, I cannot tell my stories
I cannot even cry
If I try great globs of blue will appear onto the easel
Like a drop of paint on snow
It will form my sea of sorrow
I will create a small raft
Enough for me and some food
I’ll go away to a place that only I can stay
I have done what I needed to do
In this spoiled world
My strength is not needed here
I feel unaccepted
You might think I’m a person
Someone you might know
To tell the truth
I am a paintbrush

Mia's Story update, and error fixing

* I REALIZED THAT A GIRL COULDN'T BECOME A DUCHESS JUST LIKE THAT, SO NOW HER WISH IS TO BECOME A LADY IN WAITING!!!* (This is the ending, go read the beginning!)

I closed my eyes and peered into the slip. I felt indisposed as I made out the letters. It’s a legacy in my family to sing out loud when we are scared, and I guess I was singing out loud because the king looked at me if I was crazy.
“L-A-D-Y…” I started to say out loud
“-I-N-“I continued
“W-A-I-T-I-N-G” I screamed at the top of my lungs.
When everybody was done, we had to go to the despot of our new job. I was so excited! My heart skipped a beat when I saw the manager of the servants of the royal family. I hopped that the queen and I would have a harmonious relationship.
As I got closer to the man, I realized that he was the man that our family had a feud with. He had a haggle over some pigs that we owned. We were selling it for 4 sparks, but he wanted it for 1 spark. In the end he stole them, and we were left with nothing. I heard rumors that he hoards his money in his shoe. I even heard he only eats baked peas. Before I could even say “Hello, how do you do”, he cut me off and started speaking.
“Are those shoes hardy enough to last one hour?” He said with a cynical tone of voice.
“Yes, sir” I replied trying to sound legitimate.
“Don’t try to act sagacious with me young lady, I don’t have that much patience with you, I officiate the rite every morning, I am sick and tired, so get a move on and get in the carriage.” He yelled.
I got the message that he was not partial with me, and I don’t think he ever would be. I got in the carriage, and we rode to the carriage. I hoped that my earnings would patronize my family, and we would be able to have the goods that we used to have. Sooner or later, we reached the palace. We quickly disembarked and headed down the royal garden into a stairwell. There were many steps, about 100. Out of breath, we reached the top. There was another hallway, all polish and clean. It looked like heaven. We walked down the polished hallway, and into a gigantic room. There on the throne, to my amazement was the queen. I quickly bowed down to her. Suddenly there was a bang and then….
I hear my mother’s voice.

“MIA, COME DOWN, YOU HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL. QUICKLY!” she yelled in her loud voice. I ran down the stairs confused. Then I remembered that the year is 2012 and I am 12 years old.
“Shoot” I said to myself “ I was at the good part”.

THE END!

Banana’s fruity Day

Banana’s fruity Day
One busy day on Club Penguin, Banana waddled over to the pizza parlor. Today was peak season, when they get all of the freshest fish in the Arctic Ocean, and the greenest seaweed too. She was right. There was not a single chair available. The only other place was to sit on the oldest stage ever! With lots of grunts, Banana trotted over to a nice spot under the hot lights.
Just then she heard a familiarly voice. It sounded like Summer. Summer’s real name is Summerleaze, and she was the most kind-hearted friend ever.
“Summer, it’s me Bananapple”
“Hi Bananapple!”She screamed
Summer walked to her area and plopped he self down.
“Hey, did you have you seen the new lake?” said summer
“No, it’s always filled with mean members” replied Banana
“Follow me”
They waddled out of the parlor, and into the busy streets of the plaza. There where boxes filled with music items for the next party, the music jam! Plus, there were mad penguins ramming into everybody to get through.
            “COME ON” shouted Summer
They went through a forest, and stopped at a boulder. Summer lifted the bolder, and there was a ladder going inside.
            “Climb down”
Banana climbed down the ladder. Wondering what’s down there.  When she got to the bottom, there was a glistening lake smack in front of her, plus the Aqua Grabber (a machine used in an underwater game where you grab pearls, worms, and soda cans.). There was a treasure chest too. And there were two waterfalls with two separate islands.

“YEAH” went summer as she jumped in.
“Come on in, it’s nice and warm”
“FINE” screamed Banana
SLPASH
Summer was right, the water was marvelous. They splashed in the water for hours and hours. Then they played their favorite game, Marco Polo.
            “RRRIIIINNNNGGGG” when Summer’s phone.
“Hey I need to go to play practice, see you around” said Summer.
“Will you be back????”           said Banana hopefully
            “No”
When Summer left, Banana went back home. She washed up, changed into fresh clothes, and sat down to watch the news.
 “BUZZZZ” went Banana’s phone!
It was from summer, there stage to act there play was ambushed, and she thought if they could use Banana’s igloo.
“Let them come, maybe I’ll see what there play is” thought Banana.
She replied quickly, and cleared the area for the play. Soon her guests came. They practiced for hours, and the play was about the arctic sea and pizza. ! BORING! When they went home, Banana plopped down on the couch.
“Whoa, what a awesome day I had” she thought
“I hope others are like this too” she said aloud.

Ode To Lilly

My first toy sea otter
Made my heart jump with joy
We used to crawl under the tables, or cooling in chairs
Maybe get tangled up in cables

I got glass tea cups for her tea shop
Put a small mop on her head, to show some hair
My bed used to be her secret lair at night

Then one day I saw a gnat in her fur which gave me such a fright
When I was pulling it out it ripped
It took a thousand men and some hits to get my poor sea otter mended
She looked brand new when I saw her again

I promised ten times that it would never happen again.
I have never broke that promise ever since
With a lime colored dress, she brightens the day
I can spot her in a cluttered mess

When I am stressed about a test
Or when I feel like pouting
I go find my sunshine Lilly
And she makes my day

Shape Poems

Shape poems is my favorite poem of all times. I did one, about a car traveling to the moon and the sun. It was pretty awesome. Some other people did computers, candles, and very other interesting things. Someone did a skyline of a city! A good tip on shape poems is : Do something simple before you go crazy. A good idea would be a raindrop, or a bottle. Then, once you are used to it... GO CRAZY! I don't have a picture of my shape poem because it is somewhere.

Penelope and Natalie

PENELOPE AND NATALIE

“Blue is best! Red belongs in a bird’s nest!” hollered Penelope.
Penelope was a penguin who had a wonderful life. After solving the mystery of the Shady Penguin, Penelope decided to try new things. Now, she is trying out for the cheerleading team, which wasn’t something Penelope is into, but wanted to try. As Penelope and the other penguins were prancing about in a very lethargic way, a beautiful penguin leisurely walked in and unzipped her coat. She wore a beautiful cheerleading outfit and skipped over to the captain of the team.
“I am Natalie and I am trying out for the team!” she said proudly as if she won the noble fish prize.
“Sure thing Natalie, now go and do what those penguins are doing!” hollered the captain.
After an hour of this workout the captain began to rant as loud as she could. “OKAY YOU CLUMSY BUMS! PEOPLE WHO MADE THE TEAM WILL BE ANNOUCED TOMORROW, SO CHEERIO!”
All of a sudden Natalie came to the front and said “I know I’m going to be here tomorrow, because I am better than anyone here! So please, hand me the uniform.”
The captain grunted and told everyone to leave. “AND NATALIE, YOU STAY HERE.”
Penelope ran into the lockers, ducked into the shower and put on her favorite dress and went to her friend’s house, Emily. As she pulled into her driveway, Penelope thought of that Natalie. She a braggart and how she wore that outfit for the tryouts! Suddenly, her phone rang. It was her best friend Anna. Anna owned Soups ‘n’ Crackers. Penelope answered.
“Hi Anna, what’s up?” she said into her IFish.
“ Someoneistryingtobuymystorefromme!” she said in one whole breath.
“WHAT? Anna, all I heard is your brother is doing the Irish Jig! I am coming over right this minute to either watch your brother, or help you with anything!”
Anna opened the doors to Penelope as she walked in.
“So what is wrong?” asked Penelope.
“You know Natalie, my accountant?  She embezzled me!”
“Whoa, is this Natalie kind of pretty?” Said Penelope making a connection.
“Yeah, she is and she probably took it for some weird cheerleading outfit she has been telling me about, ever since penguinkind was created. “
Penelope asked for a clarification on how Anna found Natalie. Penelope had a very weird thought and just wanted to compare data.
Anna told this heartrending story of how she saw her in the streets cold, and decided to take her in.  Anna recalled she told Natalie where the cache of money was stashed, and when she checked on it this morning it was gone, so was Natalie.
“It was abounding with my money that I started saving up ever since I was 12!” sobbed Anna as she held her head in her flippers.
Penelope sighed and decided to help her friend in any way. She thought of a random solution.
“What if we spy on her, and prove if she really did take it, because something tells me we shouldn’t believe it was her at first glance.”
Anna looked very turmoil and was giving her a weird face.
“What is so bad about it? It’s like a quest to see who took your money! Doesn’t that sound fun?” exclaimed Penelope.
“No!” Anna loudly shouted. “ I will deal with this by myself, so you can leave now.” Anna said with hate in her eyes. Penelope stormed out and didn’t glance back. Anna was usually mellow to her ideas, even if she had a malady. No matter what, Penelope was going to find out who actually did steal the money, and how! As she was brushing her teeth that night, her nomadic mind started attacking her with questions. Did Anna yell at her because her shop had a higher status than Penelope’s small cupcake store? Penelope snuggled underneath some quits and went to bed.
“OKAY YOU BUM!! LET ME READ OUT THE NAMES OF WHO MADE IT INTO THE TEAM!” said the Blue team Captain. Natalie was secluded from the others because she didn’t want to inherit the “Bum Malady” as she put it, when she came in. As the coach read the names in a piecemeal manner, she would tell the penguin who got in how to improve. To Penelope’s surprise, the captain bellowed, “PENELOPE!” Penelope walked to the captain.
“I think we need to reinforce on how you do your flips, that’s all!” She said as she handed Penelope her uniform for the team.  The captain went back to yelling the names out loud.
As Penelope watched the others get her uniforms, she thought of a plan. Then it came to her. An idea, it was……

THE END!

The Rock Story :D

Once upon a time there was a small boy who didn't like to take a bath. The result of that would be, he would stink. And to make matters worse, he would run around the village with his odor following him. One day a old woman came to town. She went to the village soup cave, and smelled the boy. Soon, the boy whizzed past her. She was startled and  took out her wand, and POOF! The little boy turned into a rock. Now, the catch is, if you don't wash the rock, then the village will stink forever. This is why you wash rocks. :D

My Haikus based on a picture

                                                                      Sad
Some Days I Feel Sad
It takes over my smiles
and makes me lonely

                                                                      Laughing
We Laugh we talk to
to a certain unknown beat. We
run up the hill now

I DREW THE PICTURE!

Buttered Flowers

Buttered Flowers
Dew butters flowers everyday
just like you butter your bread
butter side up or butter side down
the flower shines in the sunlight
Bees come, to quench their thirst
they go to the Butter Flower Cafe
There is one in every flower, even in some plants!
Buttered Flowers can make someones day.

The bee picture was taken by my friend, the rest were taken by me.

Shady Girl

                                                             SHADY GIRL
Shady Girl is always there
Like the schwa
you never know when she might be watching you
or when she might be following you
Surprisingly I found Shady Girl
I was drawing with chalk and then
BAM!
She appeared
with no further ado she tried to get away
But I outlined her into the ground
Shady Girl is always there
Watching you enter and leave a certain building everyday.

MY FAVORITE STORY

My family loves to sing. It’s a tradition; we were all born with singing voices.  I don’t love to sing in public, just because people judge you all the time.  My older sister’s dream, Kara, is to go become an actress, and be popular.  My dream is to be the duchess of Sparkville.  I’ll sit with the Queen maybe, and talk about how we should fix that, take this away! My younger brother wishes to become, a maid. He’s only five. One day he will be a great husband to one lucky girl.
In Sparkville, when you turn 15 you get to pick your job out of a velvet purse.  You can be a painter, maid, performer, wagon helper, black smith, and a duchess.  Today is the day where we go down to Cottage Lake School House, and meet the King!
“MIA, WERE LEAVING NOW! GET DOWN HERE!” screamed my mother at the top of her lungs.
As I run out the room I take a quick glance in the mirror. I’m wearing my best white petticoat and my blue tunic. I’m wearing some gold shoes that are flat on the bottom. On my legs, are black leggings, which cling to me. My hair is in a perfect bun, what a duchess should wear.  I run through our house into the wagon.  Our mules are going to fastest speed they ever went, so fast that the passing homes are blurs. I can recognize the smell of pine trees and fresh mint as we disembark.  A small amount of kids are streaming in the wooden double doors into the one room. I smile as I remember old memories, when I wanted to be pretty as my sister (which has come true!), when I wanted to be a painter. (In art I used to paint up a storm of strips and polka-dots that got all over my garments.)
We all sing the anthem to Sparkville and sit down. Everyone picks out there slip. When they do there supposed to say what they have
“Painter” someone grumbled
“Yes! Performer!” a young boy named Emit yelled.
“Blacksmith!?” someone wailed
“Wagon Helper! Wow!” the young boy next to me said.
I took a deep breath. I can do this, I peered into the bag. The slips were tied with colorful ribbon with gold dots. Each slip was a majestic color. I thought; what is the queen’s favorite color… Blue, Grey, Purple?  Wait! Grey! I grabbed the grey slip and tore it open

Penelope and the Shady Penguin

PENELOPE AND THE SHADY PENGUIN

Penelope the penguin had a very lonely life, apart from the fact she had two pets, which are puffles. Every day, she would make an adequate amount of eggs for breakfast. Then she would leave with her back door slightly ajar, so her pets could go outside for some fresh air. She would get in her Bug and leave for her cupcake store, Rainbow Sprinkles. Penelope would take a lunch break at Soups ‘n’ Crackers, which was owned by her best friend, Agkitk. When her long day was over, she would come home and eat some pasta. Before she went to bed, she had a custom to sit by the hearth and read a juicy mystery.
But, today something changed. Penelope woke up as usual, and made her eggs. Before she left, she realized that she forgot to kiss her puffles goodbye. Penelope found her yellow one Olivia, but couldn’t find her pink one… Ami! Penelope looked everywhere from under tables, to the oven, but still couldn’t find her beloved Ami. Penelope decided to check the back yard. As she was walking up to the back door, she saw it WIDE OPEN! In the snow, she saw little patches of puffle feet. Why would Ami run away? She isn’t lax when it comes to caring for them.  Penelope decided to stop at the Puffle Care Centre to see if Ami was there.
When she arrived, she could smell wet puffle everywhere. In front of her was a gigantic bathtub filled with innumerable amount of puffles. Penelope walked up to the front desk and the smell of cigar kicked in. On the front desk was a wilted flower, it looked like it was using all its strength for hope. This place was infamous for mistreating puffles fur. That soap they use always mars their fur. Rumors say they use apple juice, which very odd.
“How may I help you?” said a young penguin.
“I’m looking for my pink puffle Ami” replied Penelope.
The penguin beckoned Penelope to follow her. They maneuvered through puffle food and toys until, they reached a big door. In the center was a pink dot.
“The pink dot is an emblem of pink puffles.” said the young penguin.
She pushed the door open and there was a havoc of puffles running around. Pink puffles have the love for plays, so some were practicing dialogue for The Puffle and The Polar Bear; others were writing a narrative about a dramatic scene about a penguin who was fined for committing a misdemeanor. One came up to Penelope and started imploring to pick her.
Suddenly a big man yelled from outside
“FLO, THE SPECIAL ONE IS HERE”.
Penelope guessed the young penguin was named Flo, because she turned around and ran. Penelope succumbed to her curiosity and hid behind some beds to watch what was happening.  The penguin had a box which was moving, he opened it and grabbed something pink. At first, Penelope thought it was an ordinary puffle. Then, she realized it was Ami! Penelope had a strong feeling of vindictive towards that man.
“How dare he comes and steals my puffle! He must have lured her towards him and stole Ami.” She thought to herself. At least she thought she did, because the next thing she knew Penelope was face to face with this man. They started yelling at each other until Flo spoke up.
“Listen, what about you both think of an overture to solve this disagreement” Flo suggested.
Penelope took some time to mull over this until she thought of something.
“What about we play Card-Jitsu?” she suggested out loud. (THIS IS A CARD GAME)
“Fine” mumbled the shady penguin.
So the game began. It was an intense game. Penelope began weak, but then came back, strong. Soon, they realized they were in a stalemate. Then Penelope remembered something. If she put down a certain card, then she can win. So, Penelope slammed the card on the table.
“Penelope wins!” said Flo.
Penelope scooped up her puffle and hugged her.
